Bentley Motors Limited couldn’t keep up with the financial pressures and even though Woolf Barnato tried his best to keep the company above the surface, it just wasn’t to be and Bentley was sold to Rolls Royce in 1931. The firm was acquired by Rolls Royce under a secret name using an entity which was named the British Central Equitable Trust. The new Bentley 3.5 liter was then introduced in 1933, and was just a variant based on sporting lines of the Rolls Royce 20/25. Production then continued and many new models were designed. The most notable of all of them was the Bentley Mulsanne. The car earned rave reviews for its sleek design and powerful engine. Designed in 1970, the Bentley Mulsanne is still going strong with its 2010 model being finally released. The car features an amazing luxury interior, and replaces the Arnage.

The name of the car was given because of Bentley’s stunning success at the 24 hours of Le Mans, as it won five victories there. The Mulsanne Straight is the stretch on which cars reach their highest speeds, hence the name Bentley Mulsanne. The car is extremely high end and boasts an amazing outlook with plush interiors. Prices are starting from 220,000 pounds, which is quite a lot of money. It features a 6.75 Rolls Royce V8 engine and comes with a 8 speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission which is guaranteed to deliver the best of driving to whoever occupies the driving seat.

It is a full size luxury car that has superseded the Bentley Arnage in design and quality and is sure to be an amazing vehicle as it hits the streets in 2010. The Bentley Mulsanne comes in a variety of colors, and you can select the interior of your choice too. The distinct headlights throw an obvious glare of the luxury that comes with a Bentley and the spacious interiors of the car provide testament to that fact.
